Comprehensive list of all connections
What methods does Upgates use?
API
Using the API, you can control most sections in e-shops. A complete list of sections can be found in our APIARY.
XML
XML is a popular method of transferring data, but it is not as efficient as API communication. You can find documentation on XML Imports and Exports in our documentation.
In XML, you can manage
- Orders
- Products
- Categories
- Customers
- Articles and news
CSV
Using CSV, you can easily transfer partial information without having to use the entire data set, as is the case with XML. Moreover, thanks to our CSV configurator, you can customize CSV to suit your needs and connect basically anything you need, from export for carriers to supplier import.
In CSV, you can manage
- Orders (only export)
- Products
- Categories
- Customers
CSV Upgates documentation can be found in our documentation. We describe the CSV file configurator in this help.
What situations can be solved with it?
Basically, it only depends on your imagination what you use these sections for. Thanks to these options, you can basically convert your e-shop to Upgates from another solution, create exports for various carriers, create add-ons for parcel shipping, connect warehouse, accounting and billing systems, etc.
