Each Add-on Goes Through Various Phases. From consultation during creation to changes in functionality during operation.

Add-on Created
This is the first step you have already completed in the Create New Add-on section by filling out the form. After filling it out, the add-on will be automatically created and will be in this status.
Consultation
The add-on has been created, and now a connection with a specialist from Upgates is expected via a video call, during which you will have the opportunity to share your vision of the add-on's functionality. It is necessary for a technician from your side, who will implement the connection, to participate in the call. It is important to have already thought through the basic functionality of the add-on, which you will present to us.
Add-on Creation, Agency Testing
In this status, your add-on is in the process of being created after the consultation with the specialist has been completed and your add-on has been approved for creation.
- New sections will be made available in the add-on, which need to be filled out and then submitted for approval to Upgates.
- Main: General information about creating the add-on with links to important articles and documentation.
- Add-on Information: The public part of the add-on, which you currently see only. Later, the customer will also see it, and it serves to describe your add-on.
- Users: In this section, you can invite a new user who can help you manage/create the add-on.
- Marketing: In this section, you fill out what types of marketing promotion you are interested in when publishing the add-on.
- Add-on Development: In this section, you or your technician will fill out a detailed list of all API accesses you will need, at what intervals, and why.
- Once the add-on is ready, please test it thoroughly and ideally create a step-by-step guide for customers in the Add-on Information section on how to proceed.
Once you have filled out all the necessary details, the Main section of the add-on details will have a "Submit for Final Approval" button ready for you. The Marketplace will check that all required fields are filled out and send a notification to Upgates that your add-on is ready for our testing.

We will check the log records to help us determine if the integration behaves as it should. If we find any deficiencies, errors, or need for corrections, we will inform you through the technical support form in the administration of your development e-shop.
The check will not only focus on API communication but also on the correct navigation of the customer in the add-on and the accuracy of the activation and setup guide.
If a contract is required from your side for the creation of a new client account or if you approve registered users in any other way, we will need a test account in your application/service that has already gone through this process and that we can use for testing.
Our goal is to ensure that your add-on works flawlessly and efficiently and meets all the requirements we have jointly set.
The duration of this phase depends on the number of deficiencies found and the speed of their resolution.
Approved
If we complete the testing and have no comments on the functionality, the add-on will be approved and published for all our clients' administrations.
