Add-ons - Add-on information

In the Add-on Information section, you can edit the entire public part that customers see in the Marketplace.

You can edit everything from your logo, descriptions, to URL links that direct to your pages.

Categories

Categories are used to place the add-on in the correct section. By default, each add-on is assigned the main category "General" when created. However, please change this category according to the focus of your add-on. Your add-on will then be searchable in this section both in the Marketplace and in client administrations.

Without selecting and setting the correct category, your add-on will not be approved in the approval process.

Services

The Services section is used to pair your add-on with the service you provide. Using this service, customers in the Marketplace will be able to filter your add-on. The add-on must have at least one selected service, which is itself. For example: If you create an add-on that helps customers with shipping, it means you can connect the customer's order with various carriers and return the tracking number of the package.

Your add-on might be named: Shipping via Carriers You can connect: DPD, DHL, Zásilkovna, etc.

In the list of services, you would select: DPD, DHL, Zásilkovna, etc. However, since it is a new add-on, you will not find your service among them. Therefore, you need to request the creation of a new service.

Main Service

Always choose a service that you actually offer as the main service. Usually, this will be the name of your add-on.

Request for a New Service

If you do not find the service in the list of services, you can request a new service.

  1. You make the request in the addon detail / Addon Info - Services.
  2. Click the + Add button.
  3. In the pop-up window, click the Request a New Service button.
  4. Fill out the required form and submit the request.

We will then review your request and, if it is a valid request, we will create the service and assign it to your add-on.
